Highly Professional Seafarers for Tankers, Chemical/Product Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Multipurpose Vessels, General Cargo Vessels, Cements Carriers and Cruise / Ferry Vessels are included in the Pool available to our Clients by our Far East Associates.
Pools of Seafarers can be readily created and managed as per Client’s Requirements with professional procedures.
The actual selection is made with pre-screening of applicants based on qualifications, experience and skill required by the Clients. Also the qualifications of applicant’s competency and other professional documents are examined for authenticity and verification of previous experience as well. Applicants are being assessed based on their job knowledge, safety awareness, personality and English proficiency.
The Seagull Training System has been adopted which offers a comprehensive computer based training system and competency evaluation tools.
The Medical Examination process is based on the Standards prescribed by IMO / WHO guidelines, or as per additional flag state and Clients requirements. It is required for all confirmed joining Crews to undergo Pre-Employment Medical Examination or PEME only with approved medical Clinics. The most professional Medical Facilities are used to check the Crews medical condition for their pre-employment medical examination assuring our Clients of medically fit Seafarers. The Clinics used are accredited by the Department of Health of various Flag States and follow their requirements including those of other accrediting bodies like UK MCA etc.
Any Certificate presented by Seafarers is authenticated by referring to the issuing Bodies / Government Agencies like PRC, TESDA, NTC, NAC etc. Flag State Certificates or Licenses are acquired by the relevant Embassies and Consulates.
Arrangements are made to collect the necessary documents / applications and issue the required Visas from the Consulates.
In respect of Training a combination of Internal in-house Training and the use of External specialized Contractors Facilities and Expertise are combined to achieve the best possible results. All the Seafarers undergo the required Training Courses in compliance with the STCW 95 Code and other Statuary Regulations. The In-house Courses are designed in accordance with International Standards and specific Client’s Requirements.
The Standard Contract of Employment is POEA’s and the Crew Wage Scale is as competitive as possible in comparison with
Market Level and is according to the type of Vessels and the Trading Routes.
Performance of the Seafarers is monitored and evaluated onboard according to the Internal Procedures by following also the Client’s System and Requirements.
